The Tippers
Alex Lahasky
Lead Vocals, Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo, Steel Guitar, Harmonica, Songwriter

A fan of many genres, Alex's musical niche is difficult to define. From Overland Park, Kansas, Alex co-founded The Tippers in the winter of 2011 with guitarist Brad Phillips and vocalist Mike Andries. Following Andries' departure, he became the band's frontman.

Alex's songwriting influences range from red-dirt contemporaries Tyler Childers and Evan Felker, blues/funk/rock artists including JJ Grey, and the cultish outlaw country circles of Ray Wylie Hubbard and the like. Alex has penned every song on the Tippers' three studio albums.

A former college baseball player, Alex holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science education and a Master's degree in American History.
